Jobs that need doing
Again, to be updated as we go along:
Graphics: Concept art.
Sound: Effects (gun shooting, engine roar, ship crashing etc..).
Story: NPC's fleshed out, basic story written.
Code is the big one. Right now we need:
A front end that allows to view credits, load a game, quit and so forth.
A level editor.
Investigation into how we ultimately render the final screen.
A trading screen, where the player can choose to buy / sell found goods.
A map screen, where the player decides what mine to tackle next.
I understand that all of the gameplay options still need to be sorted out at this period in time, so if someone chooses to tackle one of these they will need some feedback. But, working code is always better than no code
If you ARE interested, then start a new topic in the appropriate forum for more discussion.

Oh yeh, and also investigation of how we represent a conversation tree and make it easy for authors to produce.
