Towards Scheme7 0.1 Empty Towards Scheme7 0.1

Release early, release often is out mantra.

The aim of Scheme 0.1 is to show that the basic game mechanics work, so it must have:

A scrolling world map. *DONE*
Working Physics. *DONE*
Ability for the ship to crash and break. *DONE*
Ship can fire bullets. *DONE*
Freely moving objects that can be pushed by the ship or by bullets. *DONE*
Static objects that can be blown up. *DONE*

This post will be updated as these things are done.

I'm not THAT far away from being complete now, so maybe 1 week? But I'll need to re-factor the code (I've made it work, rather than make it right) so maybe call it 2 weeks with a bit of luck.

I've gone a bit agile development for Scheme7, and it'll be interesting if anyone says anything about the small number of comments in the code, or indeed the small size of the functions Smile Anyhow, I'm looking forward to it as I can then promote the game a bit.

Pretty major heatwave here right now which is causing me some problems; my laptop is locking up after some use due to heat (touching 40C, and I have no A/C). So I haven't really managed any code over the last 2 or 3 days.

I've also learnt that my hitherto almost silent PS3 squeals like a pig when it overheats to!
